How are the face-to-face sales program and the online sales program related?
Sponsoring groups have been running successful face-to-face sales campaigns taking orders for our coffee for over 15 years. Typically, the sponsoring group take orders for about 2 weeks. Then we collect the order forms and deliver the entire order to the affiliate within 10 working days. The sales people deliver the coffee to the buyers. We were constantly being asked where and when customers could order more coffee. Until we initiated our online sales, customers had to wait for the next face-to-face campaign.
It isn't necessary for a sponsoring group to run both face-to-face sales and be an online affiliate but there are a lot of advantages to doing both. We estimate that a group can double their annual profits by just becoming an online affiliate and follow some of our proven marketing techniques with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more. We also put a QR code on each product your group sells so customers can just click and order more. Online sales are handled 100% by us. Groups may participate in both programs or just the online affiliate sales program.
What is OurJava.Rocks?
OurJava.Rocks is the fundraising division of the Old Canal Coffee, a coffee roasting company in Northern Indiana. Old Canal Coffee partners with groups in the lower 48 states who are seeking to raise funds for their various causes. Groups (affiliates) participate in revenue generated from online sales of OurJava.Rocks coffee. We also have a FACE TO FACE PROGRAM that's good for raising money fast. How do customers purchase coffee online from OurJava.Rocks?
Customers are directed to OurJava.Rocks when they click on a link provided to them from an affiliate (you). Links are available to registered affiliates on their dashboard and contain special code that tells OurJava.Rocks which affiliate to credit with the sale. Customers pay online by credit card and their coffee is roasted, packaged, and shipped via insured USPS Priority Mail directly to their home.
How are the face-to-face sales program and the online sales program different?
Face-to-face campaigns require more work on your part, but the rewards are immediate and can be substantial. Because of a different cost structure, the commission is about 2.5 times higher than for online sales. This is due to our shipping costs for online sales (which OurJava.Rocks subsidizes so shipping is just $2.95 for any size order) and labor costs for producing one-off online orders as well as credit card processing fees. Face-to-face sales do not incur any shipping charges for you or your customer (you are responsible for making the final delivery to your customers). We deliver your entire order two weeks after we receive it from you, however, you collect the money from your sellers right away and pay us for your coffee (less your profit) when we deliver it to you.
Online sales and fulfillment are handled 100% by us. You can track your online sales and commissions on your dashboard. Commissions are paid the month following when your commission threshold is met ($100.00). More types of coffee are available with the online sales program and we use appropriate email marketing to engage our online customers. We absorb all shipping, insurance and credit card processing fees.
